The Passion of Success

“What do you truly believe in”? This simple question was asked to readers. In order for a business to become successful, one needs to define this and use this as a drive to put this to use. When you combine your strong values with what you truly believe in, the passion for your work as well as within work will be exhibited. If you have the passion for your work, your chances of success increase.

When asked why teachers chose their professions, they often reply, “It is a passion of mine to help others learn. When I see the success in my student’s face, it makes me feel good to know the knowledge given to them has been put to use.” As a business start-up coach, it gives me a great pleasure in hearing about my client’s successes with their online business. When a lot of clients start their online business within a certain niche, they say they often say their goal is to make money and become successful. When asked why they chose that niche, their response is generally because, “I will make money the fastest selling within that niche.” It’s a rarity to hear clients say “This is something I have a lot of knowledge in and I really have an interest in selling something.” There is nothing wrong with selling something that will make fast money; however, one really must enjoy what they do. “Love what you do and you will never have to work a day in your life” is a motto that should be lived by. If you wake up in the morning unhappy about going to work, naturally, you will not be happy about other things in life. We as individuals spend more time awake at work, than we do in other things. Therefore, it is important that we find an interest that we connect and are content with so that we spend our waking hours enjoying what we do. In doing so, work does not become work but is more so a hobby that we enjoy doing.

When you love what you do it is likely you will be engrossed in your business which will likely better your work product. With this positiveness, people will respond to your work. If you are contemplating on what business to start, there are two things you should do. First, begin making a list of things you enjoy doing. Second, make a list of things you know about. By doing this, you will be astonished by how many great business ideas appear on that list.

After you have written your list and you have your business in mind, fast forward a bit and think of the outcome you want. Next, picture the lifestyle this business will bring you. Visualize how you will put to use the money that you will earn. It is important to be as specific as possible. You don’t think this will work? Go ahead; ask any successful person you know. Their success was possible because they were able to visualize the outcome and personally connect with it. Once you connect with your idea, it becomes actual and tangible and intuitively it becomes your reality. Since you have envisioned the steps to attain your goal already, you know that you can achieve it.
